On Travelling

“Bits by bits, you leave a trail of yourself
in places you’ve been and people you’ve met.
Your tongue will roll out words you’ve never known before
and it will feel like home in your mouth

It’s ironic how much a piece of you is left behind
Yet you come home more complete than ever
You carry memories with you that your soul will carry
And you ache for the experience again

You find yourself, once again, bitten by the travel bug”

Hi everyone! I just came back from a week’s trip in Georgia, the Eurasian country. It was absolutely breathtaking and the above poem is how I felt at the airport. I can’t believe how much a piece of me is left behind in Georgia but I felt more complete than ever.

Traveling is indeed the only expense that makes you richer.
